There is no better place to volunteer in your neighbourhhod than at The Fairlawn Neighbourhood Centre. A few hours of your time is a great investment in your community. There are lots of ways you can help at the Centre.

September Registration Volunteers

You can skip the Registration line-up and Pre-Register.  Give us a few hours of your time by volunteering at either of our Child, Teen or Adult Division Registrations. You will be able to pre-register in your choice of programs by volunteering. 

Welcome Desk Volunteers

If you enjoy meeting people you’ll love this Volunteer position. We always need new recruits to help welcome members and visitors to the Centre and Church.  We have weekly three-hour daytime, late afternoon, and evening shifts - ideal if you’re between jobs, recently retired, or a student seeking community service hours.  Training will be provided by Volunteers with several years experience.

Starting in September Volunteer Positions are available at our Welcome Desk.  Days and times are: Tuesdays 12:30-4:00pm, Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm, Fridays 12:30-4:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm  

Event Volunteers

Throughout the year The Centre needs Volunteers to help with Community Events.

Creative Play Volunteers

We are currently looking for Volunteers to help with room set-up, snack, tidy-up, as well as, provide the teacher with ongoing assistance during the program.  We need Volunteers each weekday morning from 9:00 to 11:15am.
