There is no better place to volunteer in your neighbourhhod than at The Fairlawn Neighbourhood Centre. A few hours of your time is a great investment in your community. There are lots of ways you can help at the Centre.

Welcome Desk Volunteer

If you enjoy meeting people you’ll love this job! We always need new recruits to help greet participants, answer the phone, and register members for programs. We have weekly three-hour daytime, late afternoon, and evening shifts - ideal if you’re between jobs, recently retired, or a student seeking community service hours.  

Event Volunteer

The Centre also needs volunteers to help with events such as Dining with the Stars, May 7, 2010. You could also volunteer at one of our registrations to help members through the process of signing up for programs. 

Creative Play Assistant

Looking for one or two volunteers to help with room set-up, snack, tidy-up, as well as, provide the teacher with ongoing assistance during the program.  We need a volunteer on Monday and/or Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 11:15.
