The baby is crying, the phone rings and there is a knock at the door. What to do? Fall back on your training from our Babysitting Skills 101 course! This program, led by Jane Penciner, Registered Nurse and neighbourhood mom, will teach students the basics of childcare and child safety to make you a confident sitter, either for siblings or neighbours. From diapering to keeping little people happy and busy, each participant will learn valuable life skills and receive awesome helpful handouts. Held on the P.A. Day, this morning will include a small snack. Participants are asked to bring a life-size baby doll (or borrow one for the morning). Combine this with our Babysitting Emergency Training and you will be the go-to sitter on your street!
