Background Information on the Centre
The Fairlawn Neighbourhood Centre is a unique place - the vision of Fairlawn Avenue United Church (F.A.U.C.). Launched in 1997, this not-for-profit educational charity is financially independent from F.A.U.C. and self-funded through program and membership fees. To date, over 200,500 people have enjoyed the programs and it’s often the first place that new families visit when they move into the neighbourhood.
The Centre offers a unique variety of structured, non-denominational programming for all ages that are fee based and require advanced registration. The Centre is overseen by a Board of Directors made up of appointed F.A.U.C. members and elected representatives from the community.
A Vision of Fairlawn Avenue United Church:
The Fairlawn Neighbourhood Centre provides non-denominational educational opportunities for personal wellness and growth in a caring, dynamic and community-focused way that celebrates and values all members of the community.
