Payments, Class Changes and Refunds All payments for program fees or membership must be made by CASH or CHEQUE only. Cheques are made payable to the Fairlawn Neighbourhood Centre. Please note that NSF cheques will be subject to a $15.00 service charge. If FNC cancels or delays a program, participants will receive a full refund. If an individual requests a refund more than seven days prior to the commencement of the program, a refund less a $15.00 cancellation fee will be issued. If an individual wants to cancel out of a program less than seven days prior to the start of the program, we will attempt to offer a credit note, less a $15.00 cancellation fee .No refunds can be made once a program has started unless cancellation is due to a medical problem supported by a doctor’s letter In this case a cancellation fee will be charged and a credit note issued. If an individual wants to transfer from one program into another, they will pay a $10.00 service charge.
Late Registration In fitness programs, depending on the program and where space is available, late registration is acceptable within one or two weeks of class commencement. For all other programs a decision is made seven days prior to the commencement of the workshop or course whether sufficient numbers have enrolled in the class. The class will be cancelled at this time if numbers do not warrant running the class. So, please don't wait until the last minute to register! Late registrations will be accepted up to class time where a decision to run the class has already been made and space is available.
