Account - Membership Information
Effective September, 2012 for the 2012 - 2013 Program Year
In order to register for programs, every centre user is asked to create an account online. Once you have set up an account you may purchase a Membership, which will entitle you to register for all fee-based programs, 5-weeks or longer in duration. It also entitles you to a 10% discounted rate for one day/evening workshops
The Fairlawn Neighbourhood Centre is totally self-funded. Membership revenues play an important role in offsetting operational expenses. There are no geographical restrictions to membership. Even if you can only use the Centre for a short period of time, your individual or family support will help to ensure that this tremendous community resource continues to thrive. You may pay for your membership and program registration in person at our Welcome Desk, located just inside the front door of the Centre.
Please note:
PROGRAM REGISTRATION TAKES PLACE IN PERSON AT OUR CENTRE.
Please create your account online prior to arriving to register and pay for programs. Membership must be paid (either online or in person) prior to registering. Live-in caregivers are eligible for membership under the family registering. Membership is not required to attend a workshop; however, members enjoy discounted workshop fees. Membership is not required for Ontario Early Years sponsored programs. However, in order to register for Child Division OEYC programs you must participate in the Lottery Number Draw process which does require creating a valid account. If the OEYC class is the only program taken, then membership fees will not be applied.
